Linux made an amicable step towards peace with Microsoft a few days ago when the Software giant signed up for Twitter. Linux sent a simple tweet which said “Welcome to Twitter, @Microsoft!,”. Reports are unconfirmed but it is belived that Bill stared stunned at the screen of him MacBook Pro for more that 24 hours before replying “@Linux Thanks, nice to be here”.
So this marks the end of the Operating System war and Microsoft has official agreed to end its own existence and become slaves to King Tux…. Not Really. The war won’t be over anytime soon but this is a big change from the rather nasty things that get printed on t-shirts and the anti-Microsoft posters of Linux users. Even though most of what they say is true.
