As you and your date talk, laugh, and discuss lighter topics, it’s inevitable that he or she will, at some point, ask you a “tough” question. These inevitable questions can take many forms and they are too numerous to list here. Often, you’ll just have to do the best you can with the question and then, after the date, plan to answer it better the next time you’re asked it. The principle to remember is this: be honest – tactfully honest. Each question is an opportunity to reveal something about yourself that will make you more attractive. Let’s take a look at one of the more common ones.

“So, what kind of work do you do?”

You’ll want to have an answer ready in advance for this one. The essence of answering this question effectively is to describe what you do in one or two sentences. A great way to look at it is: answer the question in a way so that an eight-year-old would understand you, and then say, “Cool!” Saying that you’re a “project manager” or a “systems engineer” doesn’t really tell the other person much. Try something along the lines of, “You know how online sports betting is really popular now? I write the software that makes it work.” If you’re unemployed, in school, or working what you consider to be a menial job, you can still answer this question effectively. “I’m working as a waiter while I’m getting my MBA,” or “I’m interviewing for a public relations position.” If you really are unemployed, of course, it’s best to get some job – any job, not only to increase your self-respect and income, but to help you answer this question! Present yourself in the best possible light, just as you dress and style your hair to make you look your best.

Geeks are great and geeks are cool! The nerds rule the world; gone are the days when brilliant nerds were thought of as whacko characters. Well, truth be told, nerds are still identified as whacko characters, but the rules have changed now, and today, it’s cool to be a whacko. Just look at the guys with whom all the beautiful women of this world hangout with these days, and you’ll see the most beautiful females in this world like to be around brilliant minds, whom, the rest of us in our stupid ignorance call geeks. The same goes for nerdy women, too. Guys don’t like to be with stupid bimbos anymore, and a hot body and a great face don’t make the grade these days. Intelligent nerdy women are hot and happening, and cool men like to have brilliant minds and stimulating conversations for company. It so happens, money seems to follow nerds and geeks more than the rest of us, and quite naturally, all perks accompany the money.

Brilliant minds need a break from time to time, too, and that’s why there are geek conventions all over the country for these geniuses to relax and mingle with members of their fraternity. If you are one of the lucky few who are identified as a geek or a nerd, a vacation that includes a geek convention would be a great idea. Las Vegas is a great city for geeks; not because of the casinos, but because of the geek conventions that are held in this city. There are also many cheap Las Vegas vacations which means you can find a great deal when attending a conference. The Official Star Trek Convention held in Las Vegas in the month of August is a “happening” event for all geeks that are S T fans (Most of them are, anyways). Relive your childhood star trek memories and play the parts of Captain Kirk and Mr.Spock. Dress up in your favorite star trek character costumes and play-act the roles of your favorite characters. If you feel that you’ll look out of place in your weird star trek costumes, set your fears aside as the whole of Las Vegas will be filled with Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock characters, during the event. Then, there’s this Annual Consumer Electronic Show held in January each year that you just can’t afford to miss. The major players in the electronic industry will be there displaying their wares. Electronic equipments, computers, and mind blowing electronic gadgets will be on display here, and all you geeks can spend many days exploring and enjoying the event.

Las Vegas is a pretty busy place, and these two events will attract most geeks and nerds of this country making this city jam-packed during these periods. Finding decent accommodations that are cheap can be quite a dicey proposition. So, plan your vacation early, and choose accommodations like vacation rentals, which can cut your vacation budget drastically. Vacation rental accommodations like condos and rental homes are more spacey, cheap, and have their own kitchens where you can cook your own meals. Save money on accommodation and food costs by staying in vacation rentals, and use your savings to invent a new gadget or gizmo!

The Blackberry curve is packed with features and performance for a reasonable price which is making it a sensation among smart phone users (i.e. us geeks and nerds alike).

Black Berry is performing very well with their newest line of phones. The Black Berry Curve out sold the Iphone in the first Quarter of sales for this year thanks to heavy promotion in the Version Wireless Buy one get one free sale and its high availability on all four of the USA’s major network providers where as the Iphone can only be found on the AT&T network unless unlocked.

The Blackberry curve is packed with features and performance for a reasonable price which is making it a sensation among smart phone users (i.e. us geeks and nerds alike). The such an array of uses a geek could be playing brick breaker on his while the nerd across the room is busy googling tropical fish breeding.

I have only had my Curve for about two weeks but I have almost nothing but good things to say. It is very fast, the camera is great, the internet doesn’t suck (big plus), and there is a decent selection of apps out there for it. If i had to choose one feature that really amazed me on this gadget was the fact that i knows when it is in its case and you can set it to act differently when it is put up. No but dialing and no phone going off in class thank to this simple but ingenious idea.

If you really want to get the most out of it I recommenced you hit up ebay or newegg for a nice size micro sd. I have an 8gb in mine. Shortly after buying it (i.e. 2 hours) i had filled up the extremely limited internal memory with my camera happiness. I give the BlackBerry Curve an 8.5 out of 10 as I do not like the inconvenient menu system with very minuscule icons.
