The new Google Browser seems to have a 1up on the Ancient (and outdated) Browsing Giant, Internet Explorer. Even though it is the most used browser on the net Internet Explorer is often criticized for holding the net back and having to play catch up with its less popular competitors. One of the new features that Google Chrome brought to the table was Incognito. The ability to browse leaving no traces of where you have been so you don’t have to clear your history at when you are done browsing. Now in the new version of Internet Explorer there is a similar feature called InPrivate Browsing where your history is also completely covered up. Internet Explorer has more to keep up with than just copying Opera and Firefox.
Spending all there time Playing Catch up and fixing their own system makes you wonder why they don’t give up on their flawed system and rebuild there browser on something a little more stable. Gecko and WebKit are both open source and the only cost to Microsoft would be a little loss of dignity because they would finally be admitting their product sucked but internet users and web designers alike would benefit. I doubt that Microsoft would ever do that but it doesn’t hurt to dream.
